Dr. Cari Dawson

Dr. Dawson began her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in biology. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and was elected into the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at UCHSC. Dr. Dawson received multiple awards for excellence in Internal Medicine which culminated in the honor of Chief Resident.

Dr. Dawson, a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, has been practicing Internal Medicine since 2001 at Rose Hospital. She has a clinical faculty appointment at UCHSC and has mentored many medical students and residents.

Dr. Dawson’s interests include preventative medicine, cardiovascular health and women’s health. When she is not practicing medicine she enjoys exercising, the outdoors and spending time with her husband and their three children.
